About the Honda RA273

• In 1966, Formula 1 regulations was indeed changed and suggested a move from vehicles with 1.5 liter devices to those with 3 liters. Having finally tasted success because of the 1.5 liter RA272 the growing season before, the green Honda engineers unfortuitously must start from scratch yet again, as well as the RA273 was not prepared before the Italian GP in Autumn of 1966. With Richie Ginther on wheel, the automobile proved be much more effective than its rivals, and Ginther ended the growing season in a good fourth destination. After running all the way through most of the 1967 period, the RA273 ultimately offered solution to the a whole lot more enhanced RA300.
