The Dornier Do 24 had been a broad-beamed hull traveling watercraft designed to perform reconaissance, bomber, maritime patrol , search and rescue duties. Manufactured by Dornier as replacement regarding old “Wal”, the present day Do-24 were characterized by an electrical plant of three 940 HP Bramo wing-mounted radial products.
