This pinion gear is made of hard anodized chrome steel, it's 48-53HRC certified. You get the ability you'll need for the vehicle through changing pinion gear. With the same outside gear, you'll improve your pinion gear (within allowable range) for different torque and rate. (the paid down the T count, greater the torque; the more expensive the T count, the quicker the rate.)
