Takazumi Katayama's 1983 Machine
In 1977, Takazumi Katayama became initial Japanese rider to be globe GP champion. The 1983 period saw him try the track into the effective Honda NS500. Featuring a unique 500cc liquid-cooled V3 motor and a double-cradle framework, this bicycle was a force to be reckoned with. Tamiya has accurately reproduced this historic sporting bike for the Masterwork Collection, and its own synthetic plastic tires, expertly painted competition livery, and precision-crafted interior details means it will likely be the right addition to virtually any display collection.
