The Toyota Carina was initially a Japanese compact automobile, launched in 1970. It completed manufacturing in 2000 as a mid-sized four-door sedan sold inside Japanese market. At that point it had been changed by the Toyota Allion. The Carina name has been used abroad at differing times to express other cars, often the Toyota Corona. But the Japanese-market Carina had been an alternate car.
