About the Nismo Clarion GT-R LM 95
This is actually the TA24161 a 1/24 Scale Nismo Clarion GT-RLM from the sports automobile Series from Tamiya. Ideal for Ages 14 or higher. In 1995, Nissan's rushing unit NISMO made public their intention to challenge the distinguished Le Mans 24 hour endurance competition. They've boldly declared their target of winning the competition within three years, and NISMO prepared their GT-R LM race unit the exciting task.
Even though the racer keeps some external resemblance featuring its street appropriate model, every component was indeed modified to withstand the punishment this grueling occasion provides. Its 2568cc in-line six cylinder engine, with dual turbo chargers create an awesome 600 plus horsepower and 67kg/m torque. This tremendous power is delivered toward rear tires via a X-Trac built sequential six price transmission. The four wheel double wishbone suspension system system has very nearly exactly the same construction as Nissan's very competitive GrC devices raced through the 1980's. Front part and rear 18 inch wheels are fitted with wide competition sticks, and ventilated disk brake system offer positive stopping power.
The 1995 Le Mans occasion began on 17 June, with two GR-R's one of the contenders. One GT-R have been sponsored by Clarion, a Japanese car sound maker. It went in 5th destination for awhile, but regrettable transmission trouble forced it to retire from competition; but its promising performance revealed your NISMO GT-R LM could be a serious contender in years into the future.
