This machine, which is considered the ancestor connected with modern helicopter,appears in a drawing dated around 1480 current theCodex Atlanticus. Leonardo describes the master plan for an “aerial screw”imagining it as a worm screw with a diameter of around 5metres, in their motives, it will have “screwed it self” in environment takingadvantage of its thickness.
