It was a workhose with a towing capability of 20 tons, as a result of its very reliable 6-cylinder water-cooled motor. Implemented by the German Army, Luftwaffe and Navy, the SS-100 towed all manner of subjects: industry weapons, aircraft, gas and water tanks, V2 rockets, and also disabled cars, its flexibility and reliability standing it in good stead.
