The Ford GPA was indeed a genuine car that has been implemented not merely in the U.S. component by the Army and Marine Corps, and soon after by Russian forces. It had been categorised as a "seep" (an abbreviation of "seagoing jeep") because of its amphibious nature. The front-engine 4WD automobile provided a lot of its design and elements (such as the engine) with Ford's GPW. Around 12,800 devices was produced by 1943.
