41-tooth big bevel gear for center differential is machined from special HUDY metal product that's been specifically developed for gear-type things, furthermore hardened and precision ground to allow for the tightest tolerance requires for perfect match the diff outdrives. The gears are on their machined on a precision German gear product and each gear is individually tested, analyzed, and run in. The diff gear is likely to be laser etched with "Active 41T" for simple and immediate recognition.
