2006 saw four manufacturers, BMW, Alfa Romeo, SEAT, and Chevrolet, compete the World Touring vehicle Championships. With BMW having all but sown up the Manufacturer's Championship inside 2nd final round associated with the season, the final competition brought near to a fantastic finish to see which BMW group motorist would claim the motorists' Champion-ship.
