The entire world famous United States aerial acrobatic group, the Thunderbirds, first got their start in might of 1953. During WWII, many young and inexperienced pilots have been delivered into aerial combat traveling hefty and tough to maneuver aircraft. Public demonstrations of aerial maneuverability and aircraft safety provided youthful pilots important training and ensured that they had been battle worthy before experiencing real combat. The F-84G Thunderjet gloriously led these demonstrations, securing it self a situation in the illustrious reputation for the Thunderbirds group. Tamiya recreated a 1/48 scale form of this aircraft last year.
