The Uk RAF's Lightning F.Mk.6 interceptor features an authentic two vertically mounted engine layout. Belated variation F.6 was indeed built with an upgraded motor and further gas tanks over the wings. The Lightning undertook atmosphere defense solution for over 2 decades, retiring in 1988.
