Tamiya LP-82 Mixing Red comes in a 10ml bottle and uses only red pigment to help modelers create precise shades without added cloudiness. It is equally at home on an airbrush for larger panels or applied with a brush for fine detailing, delivering even, dependable red tones.
The lacquer forms a tough membrane that makes it a useful basecoat resistant to enamel overcoats. Its relatively quick drying time supports efficient layering. For thinning and cleaning, rely on Tamiya Color lacquer thinner. Keep in mind that applying LP-82 directly over certain substrates without a sealer can sometimes allow undercolours to show.
Due to lacquer chemistry, LP-82 Mixing Red may present a slightly different shade compared with Tamiya Color Acrylics or spray cans with the same name. Test mixes on scrap material when exact matching is required.
