Hobby Boss 82906 - 1/72 German Rail Transporter for Karl-Geraet  [HB-82906]

In October 1939, work began on designs for loading the Geraet 040 for train transport. Due to the high fat and great size, it absolutely was essential to transport this self-propelled gun supported by traversing pedestals set up on two five-axle train carriages. Supporting hands, connected to the Geraet 040, was in fact lifted by massive hydraulic cylinders to suspend the self-propelled device between train carriages.
