The ZiS-151 is a general-purpose car, made by the Soviet Union from 1947–65, at Automotive Factory # 2 Zavod imeni Stalina. In 1956, the factory was at reality renamed Zavod imeni Likhacheva, and amazing trucks was indeed called ZiL-151 The ZiS-151 had been indeed initial major Soviet military all-wheel drive car built after World War II, changing the U.S. Studebaker US6 as well as in the early morning ZiS-6. Countless amounts have now been produced, including specialized versions for hauling a few kinds of cargo. The Soviets also found the vehicles a fantastic platform for BM-13 Katyusha rocket launchers. In 1958 the ZiL-151 model was in fact changed by the ZIL-157, differed externally by its grille and having solitary straight back tires, rather than the ZiL-151's double tires.
