M5x8 anodised adjustment screw for precise ride-height control

This anodised M5x8 set screw is intended as a direct replacement for the spring-tension (ride-height) adjustment screw used when fitting inner-spring lower arms on Yokomo R12 and GT series 1/10 scale chassis. The part offers a lighter anodised aluminium option while matching the original thread form and mounting location.

Fitting is direct: thread the screw into the factory adjustment hole on the lower arm, dial in the required spring preload, and confirm full suspension travel and clearance. The screw sets ride height and preload and should be used as part of suspension setup rather than to change spring characteristics or damping.

Use this item when converting to inner-spring lower arms or where a lighter, repeatable adjustment point is preferred for setup and maintenance routines.

Compress the suspension through its travel and measure ride height, then adjust the screw in small increments and recheck until the desired ride height and preload are achieved.
No. The screw is used to set preload and ride height; damper settings control damping independently and should be tuned separately.
Only use screw lengths specified for the lower arm assembly. Changing length will alter available preload range and may require geometry checks.
